Membership dues are...

  • $50 for One Semester

Requirements

To become an active member of ASHRD, current students must reach 10 total points by accumulating them within the following areas...

  • 4 General Meeting Points

  • 2 Professional Development Points

  • 4 Your Choice Points (Leftover Meeting Points, Prof. Dev., Socials, Profit Shares, etc)

Membership points are easily obtainable and multiple opportunities are granted throughout the semester to accommodate schedule conflicts.

Dress Code: Business Casual

During general meetings, business casual dress is required. This dress code helps create a professional environment, shows respect to our guest speakers, and ensures we represent Texas A&M University well.

​

The Byrne Student Success Center has professional clothing available for students who need it.

​

What to Wear:

  • Men - business or sports jacket. Stylish, solid colored slacks. Long or short-sleeved collared shirt. Dark socks. Matching belt and shoes. Ties are optional, and a good substitute if you do not have a jacket.

  • Women - business skirt or pants. Conservative blouse or sweater that cover the shoulders. Flat or low heels that are closed toed. Belt, scarf, and accessories should remain understated.

What Not to Wear:

  • Denim (jeans or shorts)

  • Sneakers

  • White Socks

  • T-shirts

  • Tight or short mini skirts

  • Heels above three inches
